Course Description

This course is for sailors of all skill levels, and they will have plenty of fun and excitement with local Irish students attending the same course, while learning about , weather, ropework and more. The first week is all about sailing. Following are some of the topics that you would focus on..

    • Rigging
    • Safety

What You’ll Learn?

• • • • By the end of the week, students will be sailing on their own in light wind conditions without assistance from their instructor.
      • Students will sail, learn and mingle with local Irish students attending the same course at Poolbeg Yacht Club.
      • The course leads to a widely recognised certification issued by Irish Sailing – the Irish National Governing Body for sailing.
      • All our summer camps culminate with our Southern and Western Ireland to combine the possibility of exploring the country, with activities catered to individual interests. The last 7 days are the perfect combination of travel, lessons, and sightseeing. The students will stay in Waterford, Cork, and Ennis/Limerick/Galway, visiting the most interesting places along the route and in each town, after having enjoyed their stay in Dublin.
